Leeds Rhinos captain Kevin Sinfield may consider a switch to American football at the end of his rugby league career.
Sinfield, 27, who last year signed a new four-deal with the Super League champions, is with the Rhinos on a pre-season camp in Jacksonville preparing for the start of their defence of the title.
The goalkicking loose forward had the chance to train with American football players at the Jacksonville Jaguars during the camp and he said he would not rule out a possible trans-Atlantic career in the future.
"American football is something I have thought about," he said.
"It might be a good opportunity to sample a different culture and still play a part in top level sport because you can't play rugby league forever."
