Li Hang failed to follow up on his win over Jimmy White as he was eliminated from the China Open second qualifying round by Martin Gould.

Li's compatriots had mixed fortunes, with Jin Long defeating David Morris 5-1 - but Liu Song forced a decider before losing 5-4 to Robert Stephen.
Teenager Stephen Craigie, who came from 3-0 down to beat Lee Spick 5-4 on Wednesday, could not repeat the feat against Andrew Norman, who beat the 18-year-old 5-4.
