Sheffield Wednesday manager Gary Megson has confirmed his interest in Swansea midfielder Ferrie Bodde.
Bodde, 29, has been ravaged by a cruciate knee ligament injury, which has restricted him to just four appearances since February 2010, in recent times.
The Dutchman had a third operation in October and Megson said: "I tried to sign Ferrie quite a few years ago when I was at Bolton.
"At that time he had really bad luck with cruciate problems and he's been out for a long time.
"He's a really good player. I don't know if anything will come off. It might suit Swansea, it might certainly suit Wednesday, it might suit Ferrie.
"It's early days yet, but it's certainly something I would be interested in. I'd need to speak to [Swansea manager] Brendan Rodgers and [chairman] Huw Jenkins about it."

why not go for quality players you get nowhere without them the only risk your taking is with his injuriy problem. GO FOR IT MEGSON.
Do not bother Megson he is a Swans player, and when he is fit, he will fit back into their system straight away. so look somewhere else, he deserves his chance in the Premier League, but with the Swans, not in Yorkshire
His quality may belong in the premiership but Swansea don't.
No chance keep your hands off. we've been waiting for him to come back and get a chance in the premier where his quality belongs.
