Dejected Crystal Palace manager Dougie Freedman has told his players to put their Carling Cup semi-final heartbreak behind them.
The Eagles now have to concentrate on getting back into the play-off race after their penalty shoot-out defeat at Cardiff denied them a Wembley meeting with Liverpool.
"I just told the players that is what happens in life, never mind on a football field," said Freedman.
"You've got to move on to whatever's put in front of you and I think they've done that.
"What will be will be in the next four or five months in terms of trying to climb the league table. I think this cup run dampened our results in the league which has resulted in where we are in the table, but I feel they've got a lot to look forward to.
"We've come a long, long way in such a short time and I'm proud of the lads."

I'll see you on Tuesday night. It's the only game of the season that you actually visit Selhurst, being the huge Brighton fan that you so clearly are. Don't forget to wear your luminous green shirt.
NO!
Please go hate somewhere else 'Crystal Palace are magic'.
Re-arrange the title . . .
