Charlton defender Paulo Monteiro will have to wait for international clearance before his loan move to Accrington Stanley can be completed.Accrington boss John Coleman was hoping the Portuguese centre-half would be available for Tuesday's game against Brentford, but it is unclear whether the paperwork will be approved in time.
Links between the London side and the north west club have already been established this season and despite the uncertainty surrounding Monteiro's move, the match at the Fraser Eagle Stadium could still involve two Charlton players.
Central defender Aswad Thomas departed The Valley to join Coleman's team on loan, whilst right-back Osei Sankofa is currently at opponents Brentford, both players signing on short-term deals in January.
