Trollope wants three-point haul

Tue 26 Feb, 05:30 PM

Bristol Rovers manager Paul Trollope will be hoping his side can "get back to winning ways" when they travel to face Millwall on Saturday. The Pirates failed to steal some ground on the League One play-offs as they were held at home by sixth-placed Tranmere on Saturday and Trollope acknowledged that completing a double over the relegation-threatened Lions will be a far from straight-forward task following their 2-1 comeback victory in November.

He told the club's official website: "If I'm honest, after we played them I thought they would pull out of it (the relegation zone) comfortably. They've had quite a few disappointing results, and as things stand we're still quite a way ahead of them.

"But Saturday is a big game for us, and if we can take three points there it makes the one against Tranmere look decent.

"We've been ok on the road, but we want to get back to winning ways and hopefully that will be the case this weekend."
