Nick Nurse has joined Great Britain's backroom staff as Chris Finch (pictured) and his team prepare for their EuroBasket Division A campaign in September.

Nurse has coached for over a decade in Europe including many successful years within the British Basketball League.

He is currently the Head Coach of Iowa Energy, who play in the NBA Development League.

Ron Wuotila, British Basketball Performance Manager, said: "I am excited about the quality of the people coming on board for the 2008 campaign.

"Blending those individuals who have driven the success of the last two years with experienced and high potential coaches will provide our players with an even better environment in which to succeed this summer."

The GB men will be tested with games against Israel (ranked 24 in the world after EuroBasket 2007), Bosnia and Herzegovina (38) and Czech Republic (56) in September.
