Pescarolo Sport have announced that they intend to enter a private Peugeot 908 in Le Mans 24 Hours race in 2009.

Peugeot will therefore have four cars in the first class of Le Mans Prototypes (LMP1).

Audi will run five - Kolles' two Audi R10s and the three factory R15s - and Aston Martin three. Pescarolo Sport also have a Judd-engined entry, one of four in all.

Pescarolo are based in the Le Mans home of the legendary endurance race.
