Leaders MK Dons have allowed Drewe Broughton to extend his stay at bottom-club Wrexham for the third and final month of his emergency loan. The 29-year-old striker has scored one goal since joining the Dragons in January and has been a virtual ever present in Brian Little's side.
Broughton will now remain at the Racecourse Ground until the end of April, but his deal expires before Wrexham's final game of the season at Lincoln, meaning he misses the game at Sincil Bank.
"I'm very happy to be staying at Wrexham," said Broughton.
"My only disappointment is that the maximum length of this type of loan means I won't be available to play against Lincoln on the final day of the season."
