Little gives up on Ellison chase

Wed 26 Mar, 06:15 PM

Wrexham manager Brian Little appears to have accepted defeat in his attempts to sign Chester midfielder Kevin Ellison, who is set to stay put.Little has made no secret of his desire to lure Ellison - who has scored 10 goals this season - to the Racecourse Ground.

But City seem intent on keeping hold of the 29-year-old, who was the subject of much transfer speculation in the January window.

"It is not something that seems to be happening," Little told the Chester Evening Leader.

"I think it is common knowledge we have been interested in Kevin for a while. He is someone we have asked questions about on a few occasions.

"Getting a potential match winner is a target most people won't let go. I can understand why Chester are holding onto him and we have to accept that."
