Acting Lincoln manager Iffy Onuora has withdrawn his appeal against Scott Kerr's sending-off during Saturday's victory over Hereford.Onuora lodged an appeal against Kerr's straight red card following his challenge on Hereford's Clint Easton, but has decided not to risk an extended ban for the midfielder.
Onuora told the club's official website: "When I first watched the incident on video, I felt that we had a good case.
"But having viewed it again since lodging the appeal, I wasn't confident that we would have been successful in our appeal, especially as we didn't have the benefit of a different camera angle.
"With that in mind and with the danger of Scott's suspension being increased, I reluctantly decided to withdraw the appeal."
It was the second time Kerr has been sent off this season and he will be suspended for four matches.
