Wrexham striker Eifion Williams has announced his retirement from football at the age of just 32 after losing his battle to regain fitness.A hamstring injury has kept Williams sidelined since the start of December and the former Hartlepool, Torquay and Barry Town forward has now decided to quit the game in order to pursue a career outside football.
"I have picked up one or two injuries this season and things haven't gone to plan," said Williams.
"I'm 33 this year and it just didn't feel right sitting here, picking up my money and not contributing to the team."
Williams made 15 appearances in total for the Dragons since joining from Hartlepool in June 2007.
