Liquigas riders dominated day one of the Settimana Internazonale di Coppi e Bartali.

After Francisco Chicchi won the morning's 95.2km road stage, the Italian squad also bossed the afternoon affairs, taking the team time trial.

Acqua & Sapone were two seconds behind on the 11.8km circuit while Tinkoff were a further second back.

The second stage takes place on Wednesday between Castel San Pietro Terme and Faenza, a ride of 175.6km.
