Sam Vokes' 55th-minute goal was enough for Bournemouth to record a vital 1-0 home win over Crewe to keep their League One survival hopes alive.Vokes netted his 12th of the season after 54 minutes at Dean Court, pouncing on a mistake by defender Daniel O'Donnell to give the Cherries their sixth win in a row and leave Kevin Bond's side just a point away from safety with one game to go.
Crewe threatened little in the first half but going behind in the second half woke them up, with Kenny Lunt going closest to equalising in the 88th minute, but his 25-yard shot was saved by David Forde.
