One-time Wigan favourite Terry Newton will be out to help Bradford leapfrog his old team in engage Super League with victory at the Grattan Stadium.
The Bulls missed the chance to go second in the table when they suffered a surprise 20-18 defeat at Hull KR a fortnight ago but have lost just once at home this year and are favourites to avenge a 28-14 defeat at the JJB in Stadium in March.
Newton, who missed that match through injury, will cast sentiment aside when he runs out against his former team-mates.
"It's always good to play against Wigan," he said. "I still have a lot of friends there, both in the team and friends who support Wigan but I am a Bradford player now and really enjoying being here.
"It's a great club to play for and my focus will be to try and make sure we take the points.
"Wigan are a very good side and up there in second spot. They are playing very well this year and deserve to be where they are.
"We have been a little bit off so far this year so Sunday for us is about turning up with the right attitude and get the job gone."
