Swansea manager Roberto Martinez has notched up a few potential signings after scouring Europe for fresh talent in the past few weeks. The Swans summer recruitment drive is well under way and Martinez, who has been scouting players in his homeland of Spain as well as Holland and Scotland, is delighted with the way the close season is shaping up as he looks to build a squad that can cope with the rigours of Championship football next season.
"I have been watching La Liga and Segunda Division games in Spain along with some matches in Holland and Scotland, including Rangers' game with Motherwell," he told the Swansea Evening Post.
"There will be a lot of names and rumours being floated about. I can say that we have looked at a lot of players - it is not possible to go through that list because it would take forever.
"I have spoken to players that want to come to play for Swansea City. They are aware of what we have achieved in the past 12 months."
