Peterborough's director of football Barry Fry believes the club may become a victim of their own success as the summer shuffling continues.Posh are looking to offload up to seven players this summer but after their promotion to League One, Fry is worried these players may not want to leave London Road.
Goalkeepers Mark Tyler and Shwan Jalal, striker Danny Crow, full-backs Adam Smith, Danny Blanchett and Adam Newton, and Josh Low have all been placed on the transfer list as manager Darren Ferguson looks to bolster his transfer funds.
Fry told Peterborough Today: "There are clubs interested in all of the players on the list, but none of them seem keen to leave. I can understand why as we are a club on the way up and everyone is talking about us.
"Players naturally want to be part of the success, but the reality is these players won't be involved at all. The manager clearly doesn't see them as part of his plans so if they want first team football they will have to leave."
He continued: "I am in charge of the player budget and although the chairman has pushed the boat out financially, I don't ever want to be in a situation when I have to tell the manager that we can't sign a particular player."
