Paris Saint-Germain defender Bernard Mendy could be set to join Premier League side Fulham on a free transfer this summer.Mendy, who spent a loan spell with Bolton in the 2002-03 season, is understood to be a target of Cottagers boss Roy Hodgson as he bids to reinforce his squad.
Fulham narrowly avoided Premier League relegation on the final day of the season and Hodgson has already started planning for next term.
Mendy, 26, impressed at left-back for PSG last season as the club reached the Coupe de France final.
However, Fulham will face competition from newly-promoted Ligue 1 side Nantes, who are understood to have made first contact with PSG.
