Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov is already having doubts about taking a penalty in the Champions League final.
Berbatov was on the end of some harsh criticism for a tame spot-kick against Everton in the FA Cup semi-final defeat and the Bulgarian has admitted the incident has shaken his confidence ahead of Wednesday's meeting with Barcelona.
He said: "That hurt. I'm not sure I'd step up now."
Berbatov also claimed only victory in Rome would make him feel like an equal in the United dressing room.
"I am part of this team but I don't feel fully part of it as I didn't win the Champions League (last season)," he added.
"If we can do that again this year, with me in the team, it will mean so much. I was jealous watching last year."
Xavi has revealed that Barcelona have not practised penalty-taking.
"It would be a bit daft as you don't get matchday tension in training," midfielder Xavi told a news conference, though he admitted he would be willing to step up.
"I like taking on the responsibility at times like that and I'm one of the players who usually takes them."
Xavi said Barca did not practise spot kicks before the Copa del Rey final against Athletic Bilbao, which they won 4-1 two weeks ago.

FACT RAFA:
UR A @#$%
We all saw from the semi final against Chelsea, that when Barca come up against a well organised, physical defence, the attacking threat of Eto'o, Messi and Henry can be nullified. With a strong, combative midfied to assist when required, I see United keeping them at bay. Now, if a certain Cristiano Ronaldo has one of his better games, we'll have a match. It'll be close, but United will win.
Spot on 79. Pls send a bottle of Johnny Walker to SAF.
man u are scum ........ come on barca ..... 2 - 1 .... barca wins
A multi million pound player saying he doesen't want to take a penalty for his team its a bloody joke any player who shys away from doing anything possible to help his team should be sacked. But old whiskey nose will probbly defend him with some excuse like he isn't well, or leave him alone he's a bit fragile or stop picking on him he is a Man U player and therefor above critisim, when really he is just another overpaid, over rated so called superstar, any bloody 1st or 2nd division player would jump at the chance to take a penalty in a Champions league final!!!!!!!
there want be a need for pens Man U are gonna win without them
I want Barcelona to win it 1-0 with a last minute goal, have a right dodgy Ref who has a mare of a game, then listen to all the Mancs and the Sweaty Sock Fergie Sqealing on Thursday morning.
