Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti, heavily linked with Chelsea, insists if the Rossoneri ask him to stay at the San Siro he will do so.
Speculation has been rife in Italy and England that Ancelotti will leave for the Blues in the summer, and he is set to sit down on Monday with the club directors to discuss his future.
However, he claims he is happy to remain in Milan as long as the club want him, adding that he has no plans to meet with Chelsea and club owner Roman Abramovich.
"My future will be much clearer for everyone after the meeting I will have with the Milan directors at the end of the season," said Ancelotti, whose current contract at the San Siro runs out next summer.
"The game against Fiorentina will not influence my choices or those of the club. It has zero impact on my future and only matters to get direct access to next season's Champions League.
"I don't have any meeting planned shortly with Abramovich. I have been learning English for two years and if the Milan directors ask me to stay, I will."
Milan are currently three points above Fiorentina in the standings but know that defeat against La Viola on Sunday would condemn them to the Champions League qualifying stages.

reading "bills" comment about glen hoddle as new manager.......can only think that dear old bill is slightly senile or dose not know diddly squat about football!!!! And the smoking italian should stay where he is.....bring back the "special" one or perhaps martin o niel.
Chris Coleman?
Stuart Pearce?
Dennis Wise?
Poyet?
Ancelotti? No Thnaks
Guus Hiddink? Yes Please
Glenn Hoddle as next Chelsea manager.
why dont chelsea sign guus up on a long term contract with a clause which releases him to take charge of his national team as required, russia dont play every week, then his assistant coach can take charge while he his away
List of managers we could get:
Riijkard-NO!
Mancini-NO!
Van Basten-YES!
He's Dutch. Him and Guus have similar tactics
It's the Dutch way!
bad reputation over last 4 years
bad manager.
bad decision making.
william gallas got done for smoking so why can't he?
he's rubbish.
negative tactics.
doesn't suit chelsea
up the chels.
FOR THIS TIME Mark Hughes IS NOT THE RIGHT CHOICE, BECAUSE WE ARE NOT IN RELAXED MODE, AND HE NEED MORE TENSIONAL EXPOSURE TO BE ABLE TO HANDLE THE DEGREE OF SUCCESS AMBITIOUS WE HAVE RIGHT NOW. WE NEED A COACH WITH CALM MODE AND AGE OF HUGHES BUT WITH 2-3 YEARS OR ABOVE OF UEFA OR CHAMPIONS TENSIONAL EXPOSURE. MOST IMPORTANT IS THE TYPE OF PLAYERS HE PREFER AND GAME TACTICS, GAME ATTACKING QUALITY AND DEFENCE SHOULD BE ASSESSED VERY WELL. A COACH CAN COME FROM PORTUGAL OR BUNDASLIGA, BUT WHO MEET OUR PRE DEFINED QUALITIES, ESPECIALLY WITH REGARDS TO GUUS RECOMMENDATIONS OF WHERE HE ENDED.
Please Alan ( Shearer ), tell Ashley ( numpty ) to give Derek Llambias his marching orders. He is mates with Wise ( micey little c@@@ ), and they are both SCUM..................... We'll be back
Ancelotti is not the man for Chelsea full stop.
They should either swallow their pride and beg Mourinho to come back, and next time allow him full control of the squad or do averything thy can to find a solution so that Huddink can continue in Role.
Scolari ahd no European club management experience and was obviously the wrong choice,Gran steadied the ship after Mourinho's departure, but was very much suspected by the fans (and I suoectteh players too) in havig something to do with undermining Mourinho's position (lke he did with Harry Redknapp at Pompey) and like Scolari was unable to alter the outcome of a game by either changing tactics or using appropriate substitutions, both skills Mourinho and Huddink had in abundance.
The only other foreign manager who might be acceptable would be Frank reykjard (scuse spelling if its wrong), once of Barcelona, however he also lost tthe confidence of the players there, and I should add is still remembered for some of his adverse comments made against Chelsea a couple of years ago, he is hardly likely to hearten him to the fans. Zola ? well much as he is loved by the club and the fans at Chelsea he really doesn't have enough experience of club management yet, perhaps in a few years he could be a good choice.
Which leaves the best of the Brits. Hmmm nt a lot to choose from really is there ?
Allerdyce ? No because his style of play would simply not be acceptable, then you have O'neill, Hughes and Moyes. Well I very much doubt if O'neill could be enticed out of Villa, where he seems ti get a lot of satisfaction in building for the future there. Moyes could ne a great choice, but he's won nothing as player or manager at the top level yet, bbut don't rule him out by any means.
So that leaves one choice Mark Hughes, who I feel that just as he would be at Old Trafford, would be welcomed back with open arms by the fans at Chelsea who held him in vey high esteem during his playing period f

A LONG TERM CONTRACT SHOULD BE DONE AFTER ONE YEAR OF EVALUATION, BECAUSE PREMIERSHIP IS QUITE DIFFERENT, FOR ANY GOOD MANAGER TO GET THE SUCCESS WE WANT, ENGLAND TITLE WE CAN GET IT ANY TIME. WE WANT CHAMPS, EVEN MOURINHO FAILURE, AT LEAST GUUS SHOWED HE IS CAPABLE FOR THE WAY THE TEAM PLAYED, WITH CHANGING POSITIVE MODE, THERE ARE FEW PROBLEMS WITH GUUS, BUT HE NEEDED TIME FOR PERMANENT FIXATION, LIKE ROLE OF YOUNG PLAYERS, HOW TO GET SOME OF FIRST ELEVEN A REST. SO THE NEW MANAGER SHOULD CONTINUE WHERE GUUS ENDED, IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO HAVE A BIGGEST NAMED COACH, BUT ANY REPUTABLE COACH WHO SHOULD BALANCE BETWEEN QUALITATIVE ATTACKING GAME AND DEFENCE TIGHT MARKING AND ALSO THE COACH SHOULD GIVE CHANCE FOR OPINION ESPECIALLY ON HOW TO FINALISE THE SEASON, WE NEED TO GO STRAIGHT FOR CHAMPIONS, WE DON'T NEED TO PLAY KNOCK OUT WITH 2 DAYS RESTED PLAYERS, MIDFIELD AND ATTACKIN OF PLAYERS SHOULD BE IN A FULL REST THE HIGH SPEED IS VERY IMPORTANT, SUBSTITUTE AT ANY INTERVAL OF THE GAME IS THE SOLUTION.

I dont think he will move to Chelsea. Guus should have my advice heres the advice: A international club is bigger than a normal club! International teams are for a whole COUNTRY! Not for a city/place.
Milan is team with geriatric players. Rejuvenate the team , please and get rid of old players : Maldini, 42; Bechkam, 35; Inzaghi, 37, Seedorf, Ambrozini, Dida, Gattuso, etc..., all over their thirties... ti much.
He is not good for Chelses
ancelotti would have made his mind up by now if he wanted to come to the blues just like jose did when he left porto it was the worst kept secret in football on the eve of there final a least he had the nuts to admit it where as ancelotti's lost his bottle if the comments from his owner are anything to go by he should stay where he is it goes to prove that jose is the special one after one season in italy who wants second best i know us blues dont
this man is a buisness man his chelsea offer is going up every day
I'm with clever Trevor on this, maybe even a 'part time Guus' with a full time Butch Wilkins.... good shout Trevor
