Motherwell will play in next season's inaugural Europa League.
The Steelmen won a place in the competition as a result of finishing second in the Scottish Fair Play League. Celtic topped the table but as they had already qualified for Europe through their league position, the place went to the next best placed team.
Motherwell will enter the Europa League at the first qualifying round which is scheduled to take place on July 2 and 9.
Falkirk have already qualified for the Europa League after reaching the Homecoming Scottish Cup Final where they will play SPL champions Rangers.
Hearts and and Aberdeen captured two other places through finishing third and fourth respectively in the SPL. Celtic and Rangers will take part in the Champions League, with the Ibrox men going straight into the group stages.
SFA chief executive Gordon Smith is pleased that Scotland have six European representatives for next season and said: "My congratulations go to Motherwell and I wish them all the best for their European adventure next season. Getting into Europe shows what can be achieved when the game is played in the right manner. It is a lesson to everyone who plays the game and the whole country can be proud of this achievement."
