Motherwell will play in next season's inaugural Europa League, the Scottish Football Association confirmed on Tuesday.
The Steelmen won a place in the competition as a result of finishing second in the Scottish Fair Play League.
Celtic topped the table, but as they had already qualified for Europe through their league position, the place went to the next best placed team.
Motherwell will enter the Europa League at the first qualifying round which is scheduled to take place on July 2 and 9.
Falkirk have already qualified for the Europa League after reaching the Homecoming Scottish Cup Final where they will play SPL champions Rangers.
Hearts and and Aberdeen captured two other places through finishing third and fourth respectively in the SPL.
Celtic and Rangers will take part in the Champions League, with the Ibrox men going straight into the group stages.

They will be in europe this season and celtic wont. Thats all that matters.
