Nottingham Forest defender Joe Heath has joined Lincoln on a six-month loan deal.
The 20-year-old left-back made his first-team debut for the Reds at the City Ground in a 4-0 Carling Cup first round tie against Morecambe last August and went on to make 12 appearances during the 2008/09 campaign.
Lincoln manager Peter Jackson said: "Joe is a young, keen and enthusiastic player and I am delighted that I have been able to bring him to the club.
"He had experience at Championship level last season and played in some big games for Forest so he certainly has something about him and he is a highly-rated full-back."

aug 8th kevin not long now , was hoping davies might stay on holiday permantly
No bull**** recently so he must still be on the beach Paul. Even though he promised he wouldn't be. Against my better judgement I renewed my season ticket today (deadline day). I said I wouldn't if they hadn't signed anybody decent. They haven't. But even so I did. But what's the alternative? Rams, Foxes, Magpies? Don't think so. Oh well.
When is the first game? I've stopped looking at the email newsletters it was so depressing.
Anybody else notice how it's all gone very quiet re Blackstock, Gunter, etc? ie anybody who is going to cost money?
at this rate will we have a half decent team or not ,davies still on holiday

A good player. And whilst I can appreciate the need to give these guys first team football week-in week-out (Woodcock benefited tremendously from his time out on loan) seems to me we are letting all of them go out without having signed anybody yet. And those we looking at are VERY OLD.
Well done! Stay with them a few years and you'll be passing us going in the opposite direction.
