Oldham boss Dave Penney has been reunited with Pawel Abbott after signing the striker from Darlington on a two-year contract.

Abbott, 27, spent last season with Penney at the Darlington Arena, where he netted 17 goals in 32 starts, making a further 13 appearances from the bench.

The Polish forward is Penney's fifth signing of the summer, joining Rob Purdie, Jonathan Worthington, Joe Jacobson and Sean Gregan.
