Davies earns draw for Cottagers

Sat 26 Jul, 03:30 PM

A second-half strike from Wales international Simon Davies earned Fulham a draw against Ulsan Hyundai in Korea's Big Crown Stadium.Cottagers boss Roy Hodgson included summer signings Mark Schwarzer, John Pantsil, Zoltan Gera and Bobby Zamora in his starting XI and saw the latter strike the crossbar inside the first minute.

But with 32 minutes gone, Fulham fell behind after Pantsil blocked a shot on the edge of the area and the ball squirmed to Lee Jin Ho, who headed home from six yards.

Substitute Jimmy Bullard set up the equaliser, producing a fine cross from the left flank which Davies headed in from the penalty spot.

  2. According to the Fulham website and sky tv, Fulham actually won this game 2-1 with Zoltan Gera scoring the winning goal. Why, with so much technology at your hands, are yahoo sports reporting that it was only a draw??????????
