Ligue 1 - France D-Day on August 6
French football was plunged into crisis when the full squad of 23 refused to train after striker Nicolas Anelka was sent home following a dressing-room row with Raymond Domenech during the 2-0 group stage defeat to Mexico.
France crashed out of the tournament after a humiliating 2-1 defeat to hosts South Africa, and the fall-out saw new coach Raymond Domenech suspend the entire squad for the upcoming friendly with Norway.
The FFF is expected to take further action once their investigations into the circumstances are complete, with recommendations made by a commission comprising Jacques Riolacci FFF president Fernand Duchaussoy, Football League president Frederic Thiriez, Court of Arbitration lawyer Laurent Davenas, former league disciplinary committee head Jacques Riolacci and Patrick Braouezec, chief of the Football Foundation.
"The commission will decide on its conclusions on Tuesday August 5," the FFF said in a statement.
"Then we will have a summary meeting to transmit our proposals to the Federal Council on August 6, at which we will aim to decide the eventual outcomes that should come from this dossier."
France face Norway in Oslo on August 11.
