Steffen Iversen has returned to Norway's 21-man squad for the World Cup qualifier against Iceland on September 6.The Rosenborg striker was thrown out of the squad by coach Aage Hareide for their friendly against the Republic of Ireland eight days ago after failing to turn up for the team's first training session following a night out.

"Steffen is a good and important player for us," said the coach.
"He understands everything he did and we don't need to waste any more time on this. We've put it all behind us."
