Turkish champions Galatasaray are set to sign Czech Republic striker Milan Baros from Lyon.
The 27-year-old has in principle agreed a three-year deal with the Istanbul outfit. Neither club disclosed the fee.
The former Liverpool, Aston Villa and Portsmouth player is expected to join his new team-mates on Thursday.
Baros found himself surplus to requirements at the Stade Gerland, where he faced stiff competition for a place in Claude Puel's starting line-up from Karim Benzema, Fred and Frederic Piquionne.
He managed just seven goals in 24 Ligue 1 appearances in a year-and-a-half spell with Lyon before being loaned to Portsmouth in January this year.
In the Premier League, he fared little better, failing to find the back of the net in 12 appearances, although he was on target for the Czech Republic in a 2-2 draw against England at Wembley earlier this month.
Galatasaray face Steaua Bucharest in the second leg of a Champions League qualifier on Wednesday after the first leg in Istanbul ended in a 2-2 draw.

baros has to fight for the jersey in galatasaray they have a lot of young, talanted players it aint easy for him to get the jersey
And Galatasaray has a chance of getting knocked out of the CL where Lyon does...don't think that may be a good gamble but if you'd picked Fenerbache then i can agree on that move since they have a good squad and will improve with their new signings....
to chase the pay packet is all they think about
baros baros baros. why don't you find somewhere to finally settle down. Now tell me why did you not stay at lyon to fight for a place. This is football men and you have to be aggresive to show yourself. Moving from place to place would not help. Get a grip on yourself and stay put now at Galatasaray
