Liga - Platini: Mourinho should set example
Michel Platini has called on Jose Mourinho to set an example after the Real Madrid manager's apparent gouging the eye of a Barcelona coach.
Mourinho's action against Tito Vilanova came at the end of a fiery encounter with Barca during last week's Supercopa match between the two.
"Everyone makes mistakes and he will be punished by the disciplinary committee of the national association," Platini said. "It would have been better not to do that - he is an educator, a coach, perhaps the best coach in the world. The great people in the world have to be examples, they have to be clean. It's a human reflection and I'm not afraid to say that."
Platini said UEFA would hold talks with the top coaches next week to clear up confusion over the level of contact that managers are permitted if they have been banned from the touchline.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been banned for two more games after appearing to issue instructions in the first leg against Udinese, though he is appealing.
Platini added: "There is a lot of confusion. We have a meeting next week with the elite coaches and we will discuss it.
"It's why we have to speak with the coaches. I am not in love with this regulation. Twenty years ago it was clear, now you can communicate with everyone, you can send an SMS.
"We have to find something. We have to speak with the coaches. I added that to the agenda. It is easy to communicate with everybody now. We will see."

Platini why you don't make a comment about UEFA supported Barca & dirty playing referee gathering Barca, what about Valdez when he stopped Ronaldo in penalty area? It is clear that Barca got power & support from UEFA and that annoying other teams. But the other teams do not want to tell the truth, they do not want to be punished, they are scared, Mourinho is a fighter and a great manager who loves football, he can not stand on all this rubbish around Barca and punishing Real for nothing, this is why he is involved in this mess, but he will win for the sake of proper and tolerant football.

in respective of whatever club you support ,mourinho is not a good coach and moreso been elected as the best coach in the world was a mistake cos his atitude is like a street boy and not of a good coach.i am not a barca fans nor madrid but i will say that barcelona remain the best club in the world.alot of coaches want to be barcelona coach and bcos they dont have the opportunity they get mad over nothing.mourinho is a bad influnces on is players and he brought enemity between barcelona and madrid.one thing he should know that iker remain the captain of spanish selection so there for he has the full rite to call for peace.since mou assume office he as change the behaviours and attitude of the players and make them more rude like him.mou is a bad influnces on is players.he is not a good coach but a complete street boy.

When it seems you make mistakes those that are not worthy of opening there dirty mouth before you will come lashing their poisonous tongues later on. I can only laugh when i read Platini's advise. Please Michel Platini do you set any examples at Uefa office being a barca fan? Are you clean? You are even thinking of inflicting further misrable purnishment on coaches as a pre-planned way of getting your favourite barshitlona to win again.
we are more interested in the football that is played in the field not the noises made by insensitive people like Planitini. He is a barca fan, he conspired with a referee (ovabo) to ensure that there would not an all English final in Italy.

platini should also set example by not favoring barcelona over other teams,as a madrid fan mourinho is going no where becos he is the best,here in madrid we go for the best
special one in complains, special one in fights, special one in Judo and kickboxing, special one in press conferences with his bad attitudes, special comedy on TV, very special person on preparing his team to kill and break and provoke the other teams players, he is every kind of special except football. Chelsea did well when Ibramovic threw him out and he will be fired soon from Madrid.

UEFA set an example and punish Barca for cheating and influencing referees and then Mourinho wouldn't need to get upset would he?
