Just one week after appearing in the World Cup final, England back Toby Flood returns to club action on Saturday as he lines up for Newcastle in their EDF Energy Cup clash at Gloucester.
Flood (pictured) came on as a replacement for Mike Catt as England went down 15-6 to South Africa in Paris and the 22-year-old insists there will be no World Cup hangover as the Falcons take on league leaders Gloucester.
"It's good to be back, although I only got back in to training halfway through the week so it's been a case of picking it up as I go along to a certain extent," said Flood.
"I've had the crib sheets out trying to remember all the calls, but it's exciting to be back and I'm looking forward to playing down at Gloucester."
Flood joined the England squad as a replacement when fellow Falcon Jamie Noon was sidelined with a knee injury.
He starts at stand-off for the Falcons, although other Falcons in the England team - Jonny Wilkinson and Matthew Tait - have been rested for the trip to Kingsholm.
Making his debut for the Cherry and Whites is former Australia hooker Jeremy Paul, who is named in a team containing 12 internationals.
Also returning to club action after the World Cup is England flanker Tom Rees, who will also be in action for Wasps, who face a trip west to Newport-Gwent Dragons.
Despite being the only specialist openside in the England camp, Rees did not see any action beyond the World Cup group stages due to selection and injury, and has been training with Wasps all week.
Rees replaces Rob Webber at seven and is the only change to the team that los5 26-25 to Harlequins in the Guinness Premiership.
Shaun Perry, who slipped down the England rankings during the World Cup after starting as first choice scrum-half, will also be in action for Bristol on Sunday.
Perry returns to partner fly-half David Hill for the game with Llanelli Scarlets in a team captained by flanker Joe El Abd.
One of Perry's rivals for the England number nine shirt, Peter Richards, also starts for his club London Irish for the visit of Harlequins to The Stoop.
Richards came on the World Cup final but at flanker and not scrum-half because loose-forwards Lewis Moody and then Joe Worsley were both forced off through injury.
Immediately into the Quins team is new South African signing De Wet Barry. The tough-tackling former Springbok starts at centre.
England wing David Strettle, who missed the World Cup through injury, is named at full-back while Adrian Jarvis replaces Chris Malone at fly-half.
