Clark hails Terriers spirit

Huddersfield manager Lee Clark has revealed he and his players would "run through brick walls" for each other.

Clark spoke glowingly of his relationship with his players after a 4-0 home win over Leyton Orient had lifted them to within a point of the top six following a run of just one league win in their previous seven.

Clark said: "I feel awful when I have to leave some of these lads out of the starting XI, or even sometimes the 18 - it hurts me almost as much as it hurts them.

"I have a great bond with the group. They will run through a brick wall for me and I will do the same for them."

Clark added: "I have a great relationship with them. I told them a couple of weeks ago that the most important people in my life are my wife, three children and the rest of my family.

"After them it's the players - that's how highly I think of them. I brought most of them to the club, but the ones I kept here have been brilliant too."
