Sheffield United midfielder James Harper insists the players "are fully behind" under-fire manager Kevin Blackwell.
The injury-hit Blades lost a third successive league match for the first time since April 2007 when going down in a seven-goal thriller at home to Cardiff and a small group of fans vented their frustration after the match in the Bramall Lane car park.
But Harper, on a season-long loan from Reading, said: "We train hard, the gaffer gets us going and we are fully behind him. We will continue to work hard and hopefully things will start to go for us soon.
"I hate losing, as we all do, but at least the signs are there that we are close to coming out of this run.
"Cardiff are flying at the moment and are scoring goals for fun but when Newcastle come to our patch we don't need any motivation because we will be going out all guns blazing."

Harps well done for scoring im sure that the BLADES can do it and if they dont you will
get your chance in another team and you can show us what you are made of.
I so wish you were so still at Reading along with alot of other true Royals.
Good Luck and keep scoring.
Love you loads

So why not go out all guns blazing against Cardiff then? Stop talking @#$% and play football
Blackwell should have gone after the Playoff final.
