Boss Paul Peschisolido insists Burton will not underestimate Oxford City when the non-league side visit the Pirelli Stadium in the FA Cup first round.

The Southern League Premier outfit reached the first round with a 2-1 win over Bury Town on Saturday.

Peschisolido said: "I love the FA Cup, but is all about upsets and we've absolutely got to be wary of that. You can't underestimate anyone.

"In the past, Burton Albion have been on the other side of giant-killings and we have seen what can happen in this competition. A team like Oxford will get themselves up for a trip to the Pirelli Stadium."

However, the Canadian expects his side to advance to the second round. He added: "We will be the favourites and we would hope to get through as they are three divisions below us.

"Being at home is very important and we want to stay in the hat and get as far as we can in the competition and also have an entertaining cup run for the fans."
