Ian Sharps has backed Rotherham striker Adam Le Fondre to play at a higher level.

Le Fondre has been a revelation since joining the Millers, scoring 10 goals for the south Yorkshire club since his move from Rochdale in August.

"Adam has been a great signing. He's a real goal poacher and it makes a big difference having a 25-goal-a-season man if you want to get promoted," Skipper Sharps said. "I'm sure he could play in a higher division and we obviously want to make sure he does that with Rotherham."
