Danny Wilson has revealed he may turn to the loan market in a bid to kick-start Swindon's fortunes after Norwich condemned the Wiltshire outfit to their second successive defeat.
An 11-game unbeaten run has now been replaced by a two-match losing streak in which the Robins have failed to find the net, something which is costing them precious ground as they look to stay in touch with those at the top.
Wilson is desperate to reverse their recent form and may look elsewhere for the players to do so, but he refuses to point the finger purely at his forwards - who he feels are not getting the service required.
"I've got to be tempted (to go into the loan market) because I've got to be tempted to bring someone in who will score goals for us," he told the Swindon Advertiser. "But the situation is putting the ball in areas where the strikers can score.
"I don't just lay it down at the feet of the strikers. We've got midfield players, wide players, full-backs at certain times who are not producing the ball for them. So I would be very frustrated if I was a striker and not scoring goals because I don't think it's just down to them.
"It's possibly about changing personnel, or just getting them more focused in what they've got to do. We might even have to change the style a little bit. But whatever we do, we will do it to get some results."
