Scunthorpe's assistant manager Andy Crosby is confident that loan duo Shaleum Logan and Tomi Ameobi can prove their worth for the Iron.Manchester City defender Logan has played in Scunthorpe's last two matches, while Leeds striker Ameobi made his debut off the bench in Saturday's home defeat to Hull.

Crosby, who shares the assistant's duties with Ian Baraclough at Glanford Park, said: "It was difficult for Shaleum to come in at Blackpool as he didn't know anyone, but he played really well at right-back.

"Tomi did really well on the occasions that the gaffer's seen him at Leeds - the gaffer's bringing in players that are desperate to do well and if Tomi can do as well as Shaleum did at Blackpool that'll be great."
