Notts County's Gary Silk admitted his second ever career goal was a case of 'hit and hope'.The defender-turned-midfielder opened his account with a goal against Hereford in October and was delighted to have made it two with a 25-yard drive in the 2-1 defeat at Lincoln.
He told the club's official website: "That one definitely beat the one at Meadow Lane by some way.
"To be fair, it came to me and I just put my head down, hit it, and hoped for the best.
"It flew in the top corner, so I was delighted."
