Paris St Germain coach Paul Le Guen and president Alain Cayzac have both blamed the referee for the defeat at Nice.

The Paris club have now slipped into the relegation in 18th place after losing 2-1 at the weekend, with a late Zoumana Camara header that would have levelled the score being ruled out for offside

Replays suggest that that goal should have stood, leaving Le Guen to criticise referee Tony Chapron.

Television replays suggested the decision was incorrect, leaving Le Guen with a sense of injustice.

Le Guen said: "The referees can get things wrong. Everyone has the right to make an error.

"It is their way of reacting which is annoying. They could just admit it, but they have trouble doing so.

"I believe we deserved to take a point and we honestly aren't happy."

Cayzac also weighed in with his opinion on the poor performance of the official.

He said: "We are now in the relegation zone.

"But if we always have a referee like we had here, we will often be in the relegation zone."
