Paris St Germain dropped into the relegation zone with a 2-1 defeat at Nice in Ligue 1.
PSG are third from bottom after their first defeat away from home this season while Nice, who have not lost before their fans yet, climb to fifth.
Striker Lilian Laslandes put Nice ahead with a header from close range on eight minutes.
Forward David N'Gog put the visitors level from the edge of the box on 31 minutes but six minutes later, Ivory Coast forward Bakary Kone beat the Parisian defence to give Nice the points.
Auxerre had earlier moved out of the danger zone with a 3-0 win over Le Mans, who had defender Gregory Cerdan sent off on the hour for bringing down Kenya forward Dennis Oliech.
Olympique Lyon won 2-0 at Stade Rennes on Saturday to stay three points clear at the top but lost France forward Karim Benzema through injury.
Benzema, the league's top scorer with 11 goals, left the pitch on a stretcher early in the second half with a bruised right thigh muscle and was doubtful for Tuesday's home Champions League group match against Barcelona, which Lyon need to win to keep alive their chances of reaching the knockout stages.
