Swindon have confirmed the financial situation with property company St Modwen has been resolved.

The issue centred around an outstanding loan which, according to reports earlier this month, was set to serve Town with a winding-up order - something the League One club was quick to dispel although they admitted there was a "dispute between the parties".

But the matter has now been resolved, and a statement on the club's official website read: "The board of Swindon Town is pleased to confirm that the issue relating to the loan between St Modwen Properties plc and Swindon Town Football Company Limited has today been resolved to the full satisfaction of both parties."

Town have also revealed Bolton striker Danny Ward has signed a one-month loan deal with the club, just hours after defender Alan Sheehan's arrival from Leeds.
