MELBOURNE (AFP) - Serbian third seed Novak Djokovic won his first Grand Slam title with a four-set victory over unseeded Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the final of the Australian Open on Sunday.

The 20-year-old Djokovic fought back from dropping his first set of the tournament to down Tsonga, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 7-6 (7/2) in three hours six minutes to claim his first major title at his 13 Grand Slam event.
