Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Gareth Bale has won our reader poll to find the Premier League Goal of the Week.

The Wales international's stunning effort against Manchester City was our runaway winner, taking 64 per cent of the vote

Robbie Keane's effort against his former club Wolves came second, with Craig Gardner's wonderful strike for Sunderland coming in third.

  1. Comment #14, Paul. Before you criticise the punctuation­ of others, you should take a look at your own.
    Posts­ and comments do not have apostrophes. While we're­ at it, a capital is used at the beginning of sentences­ and didn't is spelled thus and the word is­ 'to' not too! :-p

    Anyway, I agree, the­ indirect free kick should be brought back.

    Robbie Keanes all day for Me, although there was­ nothing much between Keane's, Bale's, and both­ Sunderland goals. The 2 freekicks at the QPR game were­ fantastic as well.

  8. Im a Spurs fan and admit that Keanes was just as good,­ unfortunatly the team with the most fans which is us in­ this case dominate the poll. Hence Man Utd always win­ when they are on it and so on. Its just a silly poll­ and no one makes you take part in it so no need to get­ annoyed over it
