Premier League - Tevez 'won't leave City this month'
Fri, 27 Jan 12:56:00 2012
Carlos Tevez's advisor Kia Joorabchian has claimed the striker will not leave Manchester City this month.
Tevez has been linked with a move to both Milan clubs and Paris Saint-Germain, but none have met City's valuation of the player, who now looks set to stay until summer.
“There have been negotiations with three clubs but they have not reached the figures Manchester City want," Joorabchian told TalkSport.
“PSG want to build a long-term project and I think Carlos is six months too early for them. But there is a big chance he will go there in the summer.”
The 27-year-old has not played since September, when he refused to warm up as a substitute during a Champions League game against Bayern Munich.
It was revealed this week that Tevez has lost £9.3 million in salary and bonuses after an extended and unauthorised spell away from the club in Argentina.
Despite the repeated claims from the Tevez camp that: "All Carlos wants to do is get back to playing football again," he is unlikely to play again this season having apparently burned his bridges with City manager Roberto Mancini.

hairy_monster, having no money does not make you a small club either... Which is just as well for you sad rags at the Theatre of Debt. We are a big club, always have been and now we are a rich club too, capeesh.
CITY shpild LOAN him outta LFC...............................as when LFC visit OLD TRAFFORD he can help end UTD'S Permiership challange!!
As a lifelong Man U and English soccer fan, in this instance i think Mancini has got it right. Tevez is a jumped up petulant fool, who thinks he is THAT good, when in reality, he just isn't. Even if he WAS that good, his behaviour as a professional is highly questionable at best, and downright disgraceful more likely.
It's good that his behaviour is married to his current inaccessibility to our favourite sport. The game doesn't need this kind of nonsense. Players are paid unearthly amounts of money and that alone should cause them to perhaps be a tad more grateful.
Tevez is anything but grateful.
There are few clubs that wouldn't have cut their losses already, effectively handing back control to the player. But City haven't - it's good that their owners can afford to teach this guy a lesson. He's finished. He won't get any game time at city and as time goes on, his already questionable marketability is only going to be eroded. City's needs for his transfer will doubtless also get ever more eroded, and i hope they just keep him not playing ad infinitum.
"John"; The reason why Robinho went for "peanuts" is because he is C**P!
money dont make you a big club
time this mercernary bought himself out of his contract and left this country and hopefully europe and obsurity as im sure mancini doesnt want him back
haha, wasn't a case of united not being able to afford him, more a case of not wanting to play along with tevez and kia's money making game. he only plays well when he's looking for a transfer. west ham, only really played for the last 10 games, couldn't hit a barn door from 6 yards in first year at old trafford, and i'd say his treatment of city is criminal. as much as i don't like city, i admire their stance on this orrible little man. let him buy his contract out if hes so desperate to play. a bit like his desire to be near his family, was that before or after his daliance with another woman.
once again the good doctor shows he hasnt got a clue what he is talking about, city never offered him 250, 000 a week to come to us, he was offered that after scoring 57 goals in 80 games for us, we bought him when united couldnt afford him, but united kept rooney when he held the club to ransem, wasnt it for 250,000 per week? oh yes but united earned the right didnt they doctor? after winning all those trophies with the money they spent in 2003 / 2004 140 million on 20 players which in todays market would be about 1 billion, united have bought everthing they have ever won since the late 60s, it took ferguson 6 years to buy the league, hope it takes mancini 2 years, im not saying we will win it, but if we do? what a fantastic achievement from a great manager, he got rid of all the hughes mongrels, and filled the squad with fantastic talent and spirit, so f u ck you doctor, watch and squirm
gotta say so impressed with our chairman over his comments about ac milan, thought they could take the p iss after getting robinho for peanuts, well f u ck you boys we aint that small club anymore, were bigger than you now, so watch out we might just come calling for your best players now, and i really hope we take some of bayerns players too, that would be so sweet, shut them arogant german @#$%s up for good
he only goes where the money are, doesnt care bout family doesnt care bout notihng. going from 1 small club recently gone rich to another one like that
When Joorabchian says Tevez "won't leave City this month", it's only because no club are prepared to pay what City ask for a trouble maker who can't play in the Champions league as he's cup tied. After failed negotiations with 3 clubs now, the reality is finally sinking in. Tevez will either have to eat humble pie and come crawling back from Argentina or be left to rot for a few more months while his bank balance, value and golf handicap all reduce at record speed.
bring him to the LANE , brilliant player
So sad to see - when is Tevez going to grow a pair and get rid of that parasite Joorabchian? He is reaching his prime and missing out on so much. 9.3m in lost salary - surely Joorabchian is hurting at that one - so why did he let him go home?
who would want him at this point? a very, very good player, but on a squad that already boasts the biggest head-case in the game, he can't even grab that mantle. Tevez has buried his own career in his and his "agent"'s stupidity
Is he with City?
Joorabchin says he won't leave when the loyal Tevez is where exactly?
What will he say next?
Carlos loves City. It's not the 9.3 mill wages he misses, it's the fans.
i mean @#$% is going on here? first he says he wants to go home, now kia is saying he doesnt want to go home, its all down to mancini, last year he said it was people behind the scenes, now he is saying it was mancini, they keep changing the storey, he is fantastic player no doubt, but all the balox that comes with him is just not worth the hassle, thanks for putting us on the map carlos, but please just f u ck off now, cause you are getting on everyones t its, you got well paid for your services, and no doubt you will get well paid again in the future, just hope its not with city, because of the disrespect you have shown to the club and its magnificent fans, who treated you like a hero
i can actually see carlitos playing again here, i think city may be cotractually obliged to play him in games he is available for, i dont know how this could work but who knows ,stranger things have happened. if he did come back how awesome would we be , aguero ,tevez and silva in the same side wooooooooooow.
A talented but very stupid player mis-represented by a self-opinionated idiot. Not a healthy combination.
City should loan tevez to Liverpool .So they can beat United and Tottenham in order to win the league. If Liverpool win den City will be Six point clear of united. The city owners can give Tevez back his 9 million.
All city do is buy thugs and twats, but that's what you get when you try to buy the league, look forward to FIFA punishing these teams where there owners put the club in debt. If you want to buy a club then put your hands in your own pockets, this is suppose to be a sport rather than just a business.
