Edwards bemoans midfield problems

Dave Edwards believes Wolves' midfield has suffered through injury and suspension this season.

Former skipper Karl Henry is the latest player who will be sidelined while he serves a three-game ban for his sending-off against Aston Villa last weekend.

But Edwards, Jamie O'Hara, Nenad Milijas have also had lengthy spells out of the side.

Edwards said: "We've not had much luck in the central midfield department this season and it's disappointing it will get broken up again with Karl being suspended.

"It's been a bit of a problem position in terms of getting some consistency and difficult to build up an understanding with different people having to come in and out.

"But, as always, Karl's absence will give someone else a chance to stake a claim."

  2. Paul Lambert for Wolves - A real manager - Norwich are a team 2 years ahead of Wolves and only just come from the championship. Struggling again - looks like relegation at the third attempt.
