Hartlepool manager Danny Wilson admits that goalkeeper Jan Budtz is suffering from lapses of concentration but will not necessarily drop him.The big Dane allowed a speculative effort from Northampton's Giles Coke to slip under his body eight minutes from time, an error that cost the Pools a point last Friday.
Wilson stressed that Budtz will be judged on long-term performances rather than a single error: "I will not judge Jan on one particular incident, I will judge him on his all-round game.
"If he does play against Bournemouth, it will be in spite of that mistake. I will pick a team on Saturday that will win the game.
"It is a knock in confidence for him but that particular incident against Northampton doesn't influence me. Everybody makes a mistake.
"It is a concentration thing but that is the area where most goalkeepers are judged on. It is not just Jan who has to do that, it is every player. It is something that has to be better throughout the whole team."
