Luton manager Mick Harford has spoken of his disappointment at failing to build on his side's takeover with victory at home to Millwall. The hosts, who had an offer by the LTFC 2020 consortium conditionally accepted before kick-off, took the lead through Paul Furlong's 12th of the season but conceded a leveller six minutes before the break as the Lions earned a 1-1 draw.
Harford said: "We are very disappointed not to win the game. We controlled the game and it's probably the best 90-minute performance we've had since I've been here.
"We got ourselves in front, which is the first time we've done that for a while but we were undone by a set piece which was a surprise as we've looked strong on set pieces recently.
"But I said to the lads, they've set down a benchmark now and it's up to them to match that for the rest of the season."
