Bolton manager Gary Megson is ready to turn to the players on the fringes of his first-team squad as he prepares for the end of season run-in.The Trotters are battling on two fronts, fighting to preserve their Barclays Premier League status while also facing Sporting Lisbon in the last 16 of the UEFA Cup.

Megson admitted the likes of Stelios Giannakopoulos, Ricardo Vaz Te and Nicky Hunt will all be called upon to play their part in the coming weeks.

"We are getting down to the wire now," he told the club's official website.

"There are 11 games to go and we are still involved in Europe - and we've got some big games coming up where we'll have to rely on the squad."
