Team Fuji-Servetto have lodged a complaint with the Court of Arbitration for Sport after being left out of the Paris-Nice and Giro races, a source with direct knowledge of the matter told Reuters.
Fuji-Servetto, one of the 18 top flight teams, were not invited on the Paris-Nice race by Amaury Sport Organisation, who also organise the Tour de France, while RCS did not give them an invite to the Giro d'Italia.
Organisers have the right to deny ProTour teams invitations if they feel they have damaged the race's image.
Fuji-Servetto's ProTour licence is owned by Mauro Gianetti, who was the manager of the Saunier-Duval outfit that left last year's Tour de France following Italian Riccardo Ricco's positive test for erythropoietin (EPO).
Another member of the team, Italian Leonardo Piepoli, was also found guilty of doping during the race.
"Fuji are lodging a complaint before CAS to have ASO and RCS's decisions to leave them out of their races overturned," the source, who declined to be named for legal reasons, told Reuters.
CAS was not immediately available to comment.
