Italian Matteo Priamo has been cleared by a sporting tribunal of charges relating to his alleged involvement in former team-mate Emanuele Sella's doping case.
The Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) made the announcement on its website.
The committee's anti-doping prosecutor last month asked CSF Group rider Priamo to be given a four-year ban, although CONI did not specify the reasons for the request.
Sella was banned for a year in December after confessing to using a new version of the blood-booster EPO.
