Nottingham Forest boss Colin Calderwood will hand a late fitness test to Kris Commons ahead of the trip to fellow promotion hopefuls Doncaster.Winger Commons is nursing a thigh strain suffered on his return to action from a groin problem in Monday's goalless draw with Brighton, however he will be given every chance to prove his fitness to face Rovers.

Calderwood must decide whether to stick with Paul Smith in goal or hand a debut to Dimi Konstantopoulos, who has signed on loan from Coventry until the end of the campaign.

James Perch is suspended, while winger Arron Davies will again be missing with a hamstring problem.

The Reds, currently fourth in the table, trail third-placed Doncaster by six points but have a game in hand.
